Santo Domingo, May 4 (EFE).- American actress Zoe Saldana, who received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on May 3, on Friday thanked the people of the Dominican Republic, where her father was born, for their constant support.
The actress who starred in films like “Avatar”, “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Star Trek” wrote on her official account on the Instagram social network: “Many thanks to my people in the Dominican Republic for their constant support. I couldn’t do it without you! I love you guys!”.
Saldana, whose mother is Puerto Rican, put her name on star number 2,637 on the Walk of Fame, something she had dreamed of since she was a child, she said.
Saldana, who currently is seen in “Avengers: Infinity War” on cinema screens, received her star surrounded by close friends, such as filmmaker James Cameron and actress Mila Kunis.
