The Ford Edge is a mid-size SUV that can seat up to five. It has a standard 250-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or an available 335-hp, twin-turbo 2.7-liter V-6 that goes in the performance-oriented ST trim level.
The base engine works with an eight-speed automatic transmission while the ST has a seven-speed automatic. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Chevrolet Blazer, Honda Passport and Hyundai Santa Fe.

Should I Buy the 2021 Ford Edge?
The Edge drives well and offers good ride comfort, and its many standard active safety features are welcome. The base engine that goes in most trims delivers modest power, but the high-output V-6 in the ST model is considerably stronger.
