Sunnyvale, CA — Venezuelan-born comedian and actor Francisco Ramos is bringing his unique brand of humor to Silicon Valley this fall, with a run of shows at Rooster T. Feathers Comedy Club from September 4–7, 2025. Known for his sharp observations, bilingual performances, and charming storytelling, Ramos will also present a special show entirely in Spanish on Saturday, September 6 — a rare treat for Bay Area Spanish-speaking audiences.
Francisco Ramos has built an impressive career making audiences laugh across the U.S. and internationally. He starred in Netflix’s hit series Gentefied, appeared on Hulu’s This Fool, Showtime’s Shameless, and lent his voice to the beloved “King Monkey” in the animated blockbuster Rio. This October, he stars in The Unexpecteds, a new film produced by Kevin Smith.
In addition to his acting credits, Ramos has filmed two stand-up comedy specials — HBO’s Entre Nos and Venezuela ’Merican, produced by Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond. His comedy blends clever cultural commentary with personal anecdotes, often drawing from his own experiences as an immigrant growing up in the United States.
“I love performing in both English and Spanish, and the Bay Area’s diverse audience makes it the perfect place to do both,” says Ramos. “Laughter is universal, but there’s something special about sharing it in your native language.”
The Spanish-language show on September 6 promises to connect with audiences through humor that celebrates and playfully examines Latino culture, immigrant resilience, and everyday life.
