San José, CA (12 de octubre, 2025) – La producción de Teatro Visión presentó “La Muerte Baila” en la Plaza de la Herencia Mexicana, una comedia musical inspirada en el Día de Muertos. El significado central de la obra es una exploración conmovedora y humorística de temas como el perdón, el recuerdo y cómo vivir la vida.
La Muerte Baila es una obra musical de Teatro Visión, producida por Rebecca Martínez y The Milagro Ensemble, bajo la dirección de Rodrigo García y la dirección musical de Russell Rodríguez.
La historia narra la travesía de Alejandro, un alma recientemente fallecida que llega al más allá en la víspera del Día de Muertos, sin recordar su pasado. Para que las almas regresen al mundo de los vivos durante la festividad, deben ayudar a Alejandro a resolver sus asuntos pendientes con la participación del público.
La obra es una historia humorística y emotiva sobre el perdón, el recuerdo y las decisiones que tomamos sobre cómo vivir plenamente.
“La Muerte Baila” llevó a la audiencia a un viaje al más allá con un gran sentido del humor. El trío musical tuvo una participación destacada, acompañando las historias de perdón y memoria con canciones llenas de significado.
La actuación de los actores invitó a los presentes a reflexionar sobre que la vida es corta y la muerte es larga, por lo que debemos elegir bien cómo vivimos.

“La Muerte Baila”: A Lesson on How to Celebrate Life

San José, CA (October 12, 2025) – Teatro Visión presented “La Muerte Baila” at the Mexican Heritage Plaza, a musical comedy inspired by the Day of the Dead. The play’s central message is a heartfelt and humorous exploration of themes such as forgiveness, remembrance, and how to live life to the fullest.
La Muerte Baila is a musical production by Teatro Visión, produced by Rebecca Martínez and The Milagro Ensemble, directed by Rodrigo García, with musical direction by Russell Rodríguez.
The story follows Alejandro, a recently deceased soul who arrives in the afterlife on the eve of Día de Muertos but can’t remember his past. To return to the world of the living for the celebration, the souls must help Alejandro resolve his unfinished business — with help from the audience.
The play is a touching and humorous story about forgiveness, memory, and the choices we make about how to live meaningfully.
“La Muerte Baila” took the audience on a journey to the afterlife filled with humor and emotion. The musical trio played an important role, accompanying the stories of forgiveness and remembrance with songs full of meaning.
The performers’ energy and emotion inspired the audience to reflect on the idea that life is short and death is long — so we must choose carefully how we live.
