Opera San José at Filoli’s Splendor

Opera San José brings the power and passion of their world-class artistry to the stunning setting of Filoli’s historic stage. This unforgettable evening offers an exclusive preview of Opera San José’s 2026–2027 season, along with stirring highlights from their upcoming production of the iconic classic, La Traviata.
The venue, which features a restored ballroom as of September 2024, will showcase a special program highlighting the company’s 41st season as well as a preview of its forthcoming “Zorro” production.


Audiences will hear arias and duets from “Carmen,” “La Traviata,” “Così fan tutte,” and “La Rondine.”
Performers include Maria Brea, Eugene Brancoveanu, Michael Jesse Kuo, Courtney Miller, Jesús Vicente Murillo, Xavier Prado, Deborah Martínez Rosengaus, and Melissa Sondhi.
The ensemble will be accompanied by pianist Veronika Agranov-Dafoe.
