This Mother’s Day, The Westin St. Francis transforms into a celebration of beauty, indulgence, and joy with a series of inspired experiences designed to make Mom feel truly special. Guests can linger over a celebratory brunch, explore large-scale floral installations, and enjoy a beautifully appointed overnight stay designed for a luxurious getaway.
The Floral Fantasy: Upon entering the Tower Lobby, guests are welcomed by a wonderland of silk flowers in brilliant spring hues. Designed by renowned Bay Area florist Edgar Martinez, the display features dramatic pops of pink, purple, and yellow alongside elegant cherry blossom trees and crystal lighting. A vibrant floral wall creates a picture-perfect backdrop for photos.
On display through May 31. Mother’s Day Brunch at Bourbon Steak: Michael Mina’s acclaimed steakhouse located inside The Westin St. Francis, is the destination for Mother’s Day brunch.
The three-course menu offers standout selections including the Bourbon Steak Benedict, Michael Mina’s signature tuna tartare, and an 8 oz. center cut filet mignon.
Optional enhancements include caviar service, a shellfish platter, lobster pot pie, and a 40 oz. Australian Wagyu Tomahawk.
The dessert menu features cheesecake with roasted strawberries, beignets with milk chocolate pot de crème, and a red velvet sundae. $89 pp. Floral and Spring Cocktails at Bourbon Lounge is fab!
Children will enjoy a selection of favorites, from chicken Caesar salad and cheeseburgers to a petite filet mignon served with mashed potatoes.
For dessert, options include a classic root beer float, walnut chip cookies finished with 24K gold, and Basque cheesecake with preserves. $55 per child; available for ages 10 and under.

The Young Women’s Choral Projects of San Francisco is a world-class choral organization for girls and young women. With a motto of “It’s official. Singing makes us happier” – the grammy-award winning founder Dr. Susan McMane saw firsthand the difference a great choir experience can make in kids’ lives.
The University of Oxford scientists made it official with their research paper: “Choir singing improves Health and Happiness.”
