Registrar of Voters Announces Voter Language Workshops

Santa Clara County, CA. sept 1, 2022– The Registrar of Voters will be hosting a variety of language workshops aimed at educating voters about the upcoming November 8, 2022 General Election.  The virtual meetings will be offered in thirteen languages: Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Korean, Khmer, Japanese, Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and Nepali.

“This is our third year since implementing the Voter’s Choice Act in Santa Clara County,” said Shannon Bushey, Registrar of Voters. “These workshops are invaluable in helping our wonderfully diverse community learn how to get involved in our democracy.”

Attendees will also learn how they can get involved in the election process, including how to become an election worker or volunteer.

All meetings will be held online via Zoom from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Bilingual support will be provided.  Registration information can be found online athttps://sccvote.sccgov.org/get-involved/outreach#1849274314-4175360803.
