San Jose, CA July 18, 2023— Tabard Theatre announces Talking After Sets comedy show, on Saturday July 29, at 7pm. Talking After Sets, hosted and produced by Austin Carr, is an exciting new way to experience live comedy that is equal parts stand up comedy showcase and live podcast—with some late night vibes added for good measure. Some of the best local and out of town comics gather to showcase both their material and personalities by bringing the green room to the stage.
Throughout the night, comics perform their material and then join an onstage panel to riff with the other comics on the show about their sets. The show is available both to attend in-person and to livestream from home at 7pm. For those unable to attend or tune in live, the high-quality multi-camera recording will also be available On-Demand for 30 days following the show. In-person single tickets are $25 for General Admission, and $35 for reserved Cabaret seating. Livestream or On-Demand tickets are choose your own pricing, $15, $25 or $35.
Talking After Sets on July 29 at Tabard will feature Austin Carr, Tyler Stannard, Ato Walker, Alicia Dhillon and Julian Gonzalez.
Austin Carr is a stand up comedian born & raised in the Bay Area! He got his start working the door at the famous Cobb’s Comedy Club falling in love with stand up every night & since starting his own comedy career in 2017, he has been performing on shows & festivals at incredible venues, comedy clubs & theatres across the country! He is the creator & producer of a hit live show called “Talking After Sets” which he has taken all over the country! In 2021, he put out his first half-hour Comedy Album “Nice To Meet You” which made it to the #2 spot in the iTunes Billboard Charts!”
Tabard Theatre (formerly Theatre on San Pedro Square) — The Destination for Arts Discovery — is located in the heart of historic San Pedro Square in downtown San Jose amid a bustling restaurant district. This intimate and unique venue brings a touch of Manhattan to the South Bay with its rustic yet edgy feel.
