“Claudia Cardinale Once Upon A Time” at the UC Berkeley Art Museum

June 2 through July 22, 2023

Presented by the Italian Culture Institute of San Francisco and co-produced by Cinecittà, Rome while featuring new restorations, Claudia Cardinale Once Upon a Time focuses on Cardinale’s great performances from the late 1950s through the 1960s in films she imbued with a

n intelligence and depth that surpass the confines of the scripted characters.

Claudia Cardinale’s daughter, Claudia Squittieri, will be at the BAMP and will introduce the first two screenings of this amazing retrospective.

I will definitely attend the movie screening of “Rocco and his Brothers” with Alain Delon, one of my all time favorite movie star who I had the privilege of meeting in person in San Francisco.
